Fashioned in late 2003 by Johnny Steele and Michael Elias, The Backseat Kiss features charmingly funny cartoons, crafts, and cocktails. Over the years the website has grown, along with it’s tightly knit online following. After a successful test period of a few shirt designs, we decided to expand from merely a few t-shirts into an entire clothing line.

Most Backseat Kiss designs are inspired by artwork and characters featured on backseatkiss.com. Like our cartoons, all designs are handmade and often start with construction paper.
